LPT training

LPTLocal Part Timer

Are you working or studying, yet feel a deep desire to do something more, to make your free time truly meaningful? The LPT Training is your opportunity to serve society and grow spiritually through the path of Ananda Marga.

This unique program is designed for those who want to contribute in a structured, heartfelt way — balancing daily responsibilities with a sincere wish to help build a better world. It’s a journey of inner discovery, service, and awakening.

From August 8–22, 2026, join us at the beautiful LFT/LPT Training Centre in Italy for two transformative weeks of learning, practice, and community. You’ll immerse yourself in Ananda Marga philosophy and lifestyle, experiencing the power of kiirtan, the serenity of sadhana, and the clarity and freedom that comes from disciplined living.

Alongside your spiritual practice, you’ll take part in hands-on service, working in the garden and helping to enrich the training centre, adding your energy to something that will continue to grow long after you leave.

After completing your training, you’ll be invited to continue this journey by dedicating and committing to three hours per week to support and enhance Ananda Marga activities, keeping the spirit of service alive in your daily life.

Guided by Didi Ananda Samprajina, this training is more than just a course. It’s a call to deepen your purpose, strengthen your mind, and join a global family dedicated to creating a world filled with love, service, and spiritual awakening.

Registration

The LPT Training is an intimate and focused experience, we can host a maximum of 15 sisters. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and any additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

If you feel called to join, don’t wait, this is your moment to deepen your practice, grow in service, and connect with like-minded sisters. Register in time to reserve your place.

Sisters who have already completed the LPT training are not eligible to attend again as trainees, but are warmly invited to return as assistants, supporting new participants in their journey. If you’ve already walked the LPT path, we encourage you to continue your progress through the Sadhana Camp, a natural next step for deepening your spiritual experience.

To fully benefit from this transformative process, we ask every participant to be fully present for the entire training. Arrival is on August 8, and departure is on August 22. Part-time attendance is not possible, as each day builds upon the previous one, forming a complete journey of learning, discipline, and spiritual awakening.

Please ensure that you are free from other work, study, or online commitments during this period so you can immerse yourself completely in the practices, service, and community life. Your full presence will allow you, and the group, to receive the deepest benefits of this sacred time together.

The LFT and LPT training center

Baba has blessed Italy as one of the special places in the world where the LFT and LPT trainings for sisters should be held. This centre stands as a sacred space for learning, growth, and service — a place where spiritual discipline meets the beauty of nature.

In 2023, our existing building was expanded to create room for more seekers to participate in the trainings and retreats. Nestled in the serene hills of Umbria, the green heart of Italy, just two hours north of Rome, the centre offers the perfect environment for reflection and inner transformation.

The house is surrounded by 6,000 square meters of fertile land, where fruit trees, nut trees, and vegetables grow in abundance. Here, the rhythm of nature supports your sadhana and service.
With ten comfortable rooms and a tranquil atmosphere, the training centre provides an ideal setting for meditation, spiritual study, and collective living in joy and simplicity. It is a place where sisters come together to recharge, reconnect, and realign their lives with a higher purpose.

After the training

The LPT journey doesn’t end when the training concludes.  It continues as a living practice in your daily life. Every one or two months, we gather online to reconnect, share our experiences, and support one another in our ongoing service and spiritual growth.

These sessions are a time to reflect on your work, celebrate progress, and seek guidance or inspiration whenever you feel uncertain.

At times, we also join in Dharma Cakra online,  reminding us that even when we are far apart, our hearts remain united in Baba’s work.

Feedback from earlier years participants:

“The most valuable for me is the opportunity to dive into the regular intense spiritual practices and share living in a community for two weeks in a row. That cleanses your system, brings back the spiritual flow, develops and strengthens my sadhana, unbends different deformations of my mind, strengthens my discipline, gives me a lot of new inspiration and insights about my future.”

“Long period of intense Sadana, perfect environment and timetable for spiritual growth. Improvement of discipline, new good connections and friendship, the satsaunga was very pleasant. Didi as a support every day was very valuable. Lots of useful inspiring classes on diverse topics with different acaryas.”

“It was truly a wonderful experience. Discipline uplifts us, makes us stronger and more resilient. The inspiring lectures with our Didis and Dadas gave us so much valuable knowledge and encouragement. Life in the community is a priceless school where we learn to respect and appreciate each person’s uniqueness. Sweet kiirtans, deep meditation, delicious food, and of course Didi’s wonderful figs made this experience unforgettable. Do come — every Ananda Margii should have this opportunity!”

“I am very happy to have participated in the training again. The intensive practice creates a unique atmosphere that allows me to go deeply within, to truly listen to myself, and to gain a profound understanding of the philosophy. It opened a new perspective for me and gave me a deeper appreciation of the ideology and philosophy of Ananda Marga. I felt so inspired by the sisters around me—their support, sharing of experiences and emotions created a very uplifting environment. The kirtans were incredibly beautiful, with a flow that was both soft and powerful at the same time. I especially enjoyed practicing asanas and kaoshikii together, learning from different yoga teachers, which felt like a complete reset for the body. The daily Dharma Cakras elevated the mind deeply. I also appreciated the chance to express myself through interactive workshops and personal presentations.”

“The training was filled with interesting and necessary information, teaching, lectures, presentations and a good amount of sadhana. I enjoyed most the kiirtans three times a day, sometimes they were deeper than meditation. Most meaningful thing was the feeling of togetherness and belonging, that we really are moving together and I belong to something great, something infinite.”

“I am extremely happy with my experience at this training/retreat. The organisation was seamless, and all the information provided beforehand and throughout the retreat was clear and helpful.

The food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared, supporting a nourishing and balanced experience. I also greatly appreciated the quality of the classes, they were insightful, engaging, and deeply supportive of my spiritual development.

I leave feeling enriched, inspired, and very grateful for the opportunity to participate. Thank you to Didi, and to everyone involved in creating such a meaningful and well-run LPT training.

I enjoyed the learning from the classes, the experiential learning through the workshops and general schedule and discipline, but also the peripheral learning through the community of women attending.

A sincere thank you! 🙏”
