LPT training

LPT training

LPT stands for Local Part Timer. This training is for you, who still work or study, but wants to contribute to the Ananda Marga organisation in a very meaningful and organised way during your free time and do something concrete for the society.

Perhaps you are already contributing to our Ananda Marga mission. This training will give you tools, friends and support to keep going and enhance your capacity to do your work.

The LPT training takes place in August from 8-22, 2026.  You will get a good introduction to Ananda Marga ideology and philosophy along with lots of kiirtan and sadhana and the freedom of mind that comes from following a discipline. You will also get the chance to do service while working in the garden and helping to improve the LFT/LPT training centre in Italy.

After you have completed your training, you are asked to commit to work for Ananda Marga for at least three hours per week for a minimum of one year.

Didi Ananda Samprajina will be your trainer during the LPT training.

Registration

We can host maximum 15 sisters in the LPT training. We will accept sisters on a first comes first basis and the rest will be put on a waiting list. Don’t miss this opportunity – register on time!

Sisters who have already done the LPT training are not allowed to come a second time as a trainee. We welcome sisters to come as assistants if they would like to come again. Sisters who have already done the LPT training are encouraged to attend the Sadhana Camp as a next step.

Please arrange for your time so that you can arrive the day we start the training and leave on the last day. We do NOT allow for people to come part time of the training. Arrival is on 8th August and departure is on 22nd August.

Please make sure that you are free during the period of your training and do not have other commitments online or elsewhere that could interfere with your training time. We expect everyone to be fully present in all programs.

The LFT and LPT training center

Baba assigned Italy as one of the places in the world where we should hold the LFT/LPT training for sisters. In 2023, our existing building was expanded on and it is now big enough for us to hold LFT/LPT training. The location is in Umbria, the green heart of Italy. Just 2 hours north of Rome. The house is surrounded by 6000 m2 of land where we grow plenty of fruit trees, nut trees and vegetables. There are 10 rooms in the house and a quiet and calm area, perfect for practicing deep meditation.

After the training

After the training, every one or two months, we will meet online to report and check in regarding the work you are doing. We support one another and it is also a great opportunity to ask for guidance if you are unsure how your work is going. Sometimes we also do Dharma Cakra together online.

Feedback from earlier years participants:

“The most valuable for me is the opportunity to dive into the regular intense spiritual practices and share living in a community for two weeks in a row. That cleanses your system, brings back the spiritual flow, develops and strengthens my sadhana, unbends different deformations of my mind, strengthens my discipline, gives me a lot of new inspiration and insights about my future.”

“Long period of intense Sadana, perfect environment and timetable for spiritual growth. Improvement of discipline, new good connections and friendship, the satsaunga was very pleasant. Didi as a support every day was very valuable. Lots of useful inspiring classes on diverse topics with different acaryas.”

“It was truly a wonderful experience. Discipline uplifts us, makes us stronger and more resilient. The inspiring lectures with our Didis and Dadas gave us so much valuable knowledge and encouragement. Life in the community is a priceless school where we learn to respect and appreciate each person’s uniqueness. Sweet kiirtans, deep meditation, delicious food, and of course Didi’s wonderful figs made this experience unforgettable. Do come — every Ananda Margii should have this opportunity!”

“I am very happy to have participated in the training again. The intensive practice creates a unique atmosphere that allows me to go deeply within, to truly listen to myself, and to gain a profound understanding of the philosophy. It opened a new perspective for me and gave me a deeper appreciation of the ideology and philosophy of Ananda Marga. I felt so inspired by the sisters around me—their support, sharing of experiences and emotions created a very uplifting environment. The kirtans were incredibly beautiful, with a flow that was both soft and powerful at the same time. I especially enjoyed practicing asanas and kaoshikii together, learning from different yoga teachers, which felt like a complete reset for the body. The daily Dharma Cakras elevated the mind deeply. I also appreciated the chance to express myself through interactive workshops and personal presentations.”

“The training was filled with interesting and necessary information, teaching, lectures, presentations and a good amount of sadhana. I enjoyed most the kiirtans three times a day, sometimes they were deeper than meditation. Most meaningful thing was the feeling of togetherness and belonging, that we really are moving together and I belong to something great, something infinite.”

“I am extremely happy with my experience at this training/retreat. The organisation was seamless, and all the information provided beforehand and throughout the retreat was clear and helpful.

The food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared, supporting a nourishing and balanced experience. I also greatly appreciated the quality of the classes, they were insightful, engaging, and deeply supportive of my spiritual development.

I leave feeling enriched, inspired, and very grateful for the opportunity to participate. Thank you to Didi, and to everyone involved in creating such a meaningful and well-run LPT training.

I enjoyed the learning from the classes, the experiential learning through the workshops and general schedule and discipline, but also the peripheral learning through the community of women attending.

A sincere thank you! 🙏”
